What should I expect on my first visit?
The first office visit takes approximately one hour. Our Doctors begin every first visit by taking a thorough health history. They will ask about your present condition, your past medical history, pertinent family information, and your health goals. The doctor will then perform a comprehensive examination that includes some general medical screens, an orthopedic exam, and a chiropractic exam. The Doctor will palpate (use her hands to feel) your back. Depending upon what results The Doctor finds, she may send you for an x-ray. Not every patient coming to our office receives x-rays, but sometimes they are necessary to best treat you. At the end of your first visit, the Doctor will tell you if she will be able to help you and how. If you are not in the best place for you, she will let you know and even recommend another practitioner who might be able to help you!
When can I start the treatment?
As soon as you are finished with your first visit, we will schedule your "Report of Findings" and your first treatment.
This is the most important visit to our office. This is the visit when the doctor will explain how and why chiropractic works. You will learn how chiropractic cannot only relieve your pain but also improve the quality of your health. Come with questions! This is your time to educate yourself and take control of your health! Your first treatment will immediately follow this Report of Findings.
What makes our chiropractic treatments different from other chiropractors?
